Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Amplify Members mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Amplify Members ("we", "us", or "our").
2. Description of Service
Amplify Members provides the following services:
- Workout Display: View daily workouts from CrossFit Amplify
- Class Scheduling: View class schedules and availability
- Class Reservations: Reserve and manage your class bookings
- Weather Information: View weather forecasts for workout planning
- AI Workout Suggestions: Receive personalized recovery workout recommendations (Pro feature)
- Widgets and Watch App: Access workout information from your home screen and Apple Watch
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
To use the App, you must:
- Be a member of CrossFit Amplify with an active Wodify account
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Be at least 13 years of age
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for:
- All activities that occur under your account
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
3.3 Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time by logging out and contacting support. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
4.1 Pro Subscription
Amplify Members offers an optional Pro subscription that unlocks premium features including:
- AI-powered recovery workout suggestions
- Enhanced workout insights
- Future premium features as they become available
4.2 Pricing and Billing
Subscription pricing is displayed in the App and is subject to change. All payments are processed through Apple's App Store using your Apple ID payment method. We do not store or process payment information directly.
4.3 Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings.
4.4 Refunds
All subscription purchases are final. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple's App Store in accordance with Apple's refund policy. We cannot process refunds directly.
4.5 Free Trial
If we offer a free trial, you will be charged when the trial period ends unless you cancel before the trial expires. Cancellation instructions are available in your Apple ID account settings.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use automated systems to access the App
- Share your account credentials with others
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Submit false or misleading information
6. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, features, and content, is owned by Amplify Members and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not grant you any ownership rights.
Workout content is provided by CrossFit Amplify and Wodify and remains their property.
7. Third-Party Services
7.1 Wodify Integration
The App integrates with Wodify, a third-party gym management platform. Your use of Wodify services through the App is subject to Wodify's terms of service. We are not responsible for Wodify's services or any issues arising from your use of Wodify.
7.2 Other Third-Party Services
The App uses additional third-party services (Supabase, RevenueCat, OpenAI, Apple services) as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms.
7.3 Links to External Sites
The App may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party websites.
8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
8.1 Fitness Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: Amplify Members is a fitness information app. Before beginning any exercise program, consult with your physician. We are not responsible for any injuries or health issues that result from following workout programs displayed in the App.
The App provides information only and should not be considered professional fitness or medical advice. Always exercise within your abilities and follow proper safety protocols.
8.2 Service Availability
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Availability of class reservations (capacity is limited)
- Accuracy of workout information or weather data
- Compatibility with all devices or iOS versions
8.3 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
- Issues arising from third-party services (Wodify, etc.)
- Technical failures or service interruptions
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription in the past 12 months.
8.4 AI-Generated Content
AI-powered workout suggestions are generated by algorithms and may not be suitable for all individuals. Always exercise judgment and consult fitness professionals before following AI recommendations.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent or illegal activity
- Extended inactivity
- Requests from law enforcement
Upon termination, your license to use the App ends immediately. Provisions regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability survive termination.
10. Changes to the App
We may modify, update, or discontinue features of the App at any time without notice. We may also change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice to existing subscribers.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by:
- Updating the "Last updated" date
- Displaying a notice in the App
- Requiring acceptance of new terms before continued use (for material changes)
Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Amplify Members regarding your use of the App.
